Currently, my role is a Processor and I’m responsible for preparing and organizing the necessary documentation for a mortgage application. I act as an intermediary between the borrower and the underwriter, ensuring all required paperwork is complete and accurate. My duties include verifying income, assets, and employment, ordering credit reports and appraisals, and coordinating with various parties involved in the mortgage process. Mortgage Processors play a crucial role in facilitating smooth and timely loan approvals, making them essential to the real estate and lending industries. I love my job because every file is different but the common goal is to provide wealth through homeownership.
